Lyons Economic Forecast
Launched in 2006 to better inform Lyons Companies employees about the effect economic conditions have on client businesses and the insurance industry, the Economic Forecast has since aligned with the University of Delaware’s Center for Economic Education and Entrepreneurship, broadening its audience to include regional business and financial leaders, educators, and university students. This annual event hosts three speakers representing the Federal Reserve Bank, business community, and financial industry.
Speakers make individual presentations, followed by a panel discussion addressing current economic conditions, trends and policy implications.
This event attracts national media attention and has been used as a forum to make important policy announcements.
