OSHA Targeting Operations with Forklifts and Warehousing

Beginning in early November 2022, per the Regional Emphasis Program for Warehousing Operation directive, OSHA will begin conducting comprehensive site inspections of organizations with warehousing operations in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. The Regional Emphasis Program is slated to last 5 years and target warehousing, storage, and distribution yard operations.
Not in Region 3? Be aware that OSHA already has emphasis programs in 7 other regions for either Warehousing or Powered Industrial Trucks.
