OSHA: COVID-19 Update
February 2, 2021
On January 29, 2021, OSHA issued stronger safety guidance to help employers and workers identify risks of COVID-19 exposure and contraction, and implement a COVID-19 Prevention Program.
At this point the guidance are recommendations and are not mandatory. However, OSHA may issue an Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS), on or before March 15, 2021, that would make suggested protocols mandatory.
See Lyons Companies blog post from December 22, 2020 for additional information on possible changes.
